ABOUT US
41 North Dog Sports promotes the sport of Schutzhund / IGP by hosting conformation shows, breed surveys, and Schutzhund trials.
Our members are trainers and competitors in the sport of Schutzhund / IGP.
“IGP (Internationale Gebrauchshund Pruefung / International Working Dog Test) previously known as Schutzhund, is a breed suitability test for working dogs and a competitive dog sport.”

MISSION
To train dogs for the sport of Schutzhund.

- The promotion of working dogs for the sport of Schutzhund and service.

- Support movements that demonstrate the advantages of Schutzhund training.

- Support and organize Schutzhund trials and conformation shows.

- Support the use of dogs by police departments and similar service.
- To interest and educate the public about Schutzhund, police, and search and rescue training.

- To preserve the German Shepherd Dog in accordance with the breed standard as a working dog, to promote humane training methods for the working dog, and to support responsible dog ownership and breeding practices.
